Where I am from
Who I am

I started to teach languages when I attended my first university course in 2006. At that time, I had a diploma from a Language High School and I started to help other students with their homework.

Thanks to my parents who let me travel all over the world, thanks to language exchanges in Sweden and in France arranged by my school, thanks to Rome itself, a city full of turist in every corner, I realized my love for different cultures and languages. You can learn a lot knowing a foreign language: you could talk with foreigners and learn a different vision of life.

Few years later I first got a bachelor and then a master degree in French literature, and I understood what I wanted to be when I grew up: I wanted to work in tourism or in language teaching. So I started to work as tour coordinator in Rome and at the same time I followed a course in teaching Italian as a second/foreign language.

All roads lead to Rome. Follow this proverb. Visit Rome and its beauty, Visit the city with the highest concentration of historical and architectural riches in the world. Discover the Colosseum, the dome of St. Peter Basilica in Vatican City, the famous Trevi fountain, and everything Rome can offer.

Don’t miss to throw a coin in Trevi fountain because, according to popular belief, if you do it, you will come back to Rome. Come back to Rome as many times as you wish and take your time for enjoying your visit because, as another proverb says, to know Rome, a life does not suffice.

I love Rome and I will bring my passion for this city in my lessons. I can also suggest you where to go and what to do for enjoying Rome as a simple tourist can’t do.

ABOUT ME

Why to learn Italian

with me

You have to expect the question "Why do you want to study Italian?" at the beginning of your first lesson with me.

Why? Because I can prepare good lessons for you. If you want to learn Italian because you want to visit Italy, you need to focus on learning sentences for every situation you would deal with. If you need an Italian language course because you have to pass an exam, you need to focus on communication and grammar. And so on.

Here some of my students’ reasons to study Italian:

who loves Italian language and culture and wants to buy a house in Italy;

who wants to speak a little Italian before to visit Italy;

who was fascinated by Italian sound and decided to study it;

who was fascinated by Rome when he/she was a child;

who loves Italian cooking and wants to become a chef.
